PROJECT PROGRESS MADE: 

APRIL KUMMERLE: This week began this skilled labor team work at April Kummerle’s house! On Monday Luis Lugo and his team from Fearless works came to town and would work for the next three weeks completing the skilled labor work such as plumbing, drywall, flooring, kitchen installation and beyond. Luis and his team have such servant hearts and and is always a JOY to have them. These men put in long hours each day from 7:30am-5pm giving their very best to get the most out of each day. April Knight and our Gathering Church team furnish lunch daily for the Fearless Works team, and it has been an honor to do so!

BARNARDSVILLE CLEAN UP: On Friday, April 4th we had our friends from Hope Church Greenville bring a day team to help with a couple clean up projects in the Barnardsville area! They were able to help another local group in Barnardsville with a good bit of brush cleanup. In addition they helped disassemble a metal roof from a damaged home of an elderly man. The homeowner has moved permanently into a camper, but wanted to keep the tin roof from his house as he had just replaced it in 2024. He will repurpose the metal to a barn. I can only fathom the amount of loss for so many. Things like home projects that took months of sweat and hard work, only to be lost in a moment. God is faithful to bring the help through volunteers like ours, not to fix it all, but to give small steps of hope and help along the long road to recovery.
